2010 Coach and Volunteer of the Honorees Announced
Four honorees for these awards have recently been announced. Along with the Portland Beavers and the Eugene Emeralds we are very pleased to pay tribute to these individuals. In each case these recipients share not only their time but also the values that can be learned through baseball and softball. Our three organizations look at these individuals as Ambassadors for the thousands of coaches and volunteers who serve in our communities. Our congratulations to these Honorees and to all who "give back" to our kids through this game.

2010 Presidents LetterDear Centennial Little League Community, It's amazing how another year has passed and I find myself writing to you once again as it's already registration time for the 2010 Little League Season. Despite time passing so quickly, I've come to recognize there is no other community-based activity which provides our entire families an environment to connect with others like Little League can. Where else can you watch your children and the children of friends learn life skills such as team work, sportsmanship and competition in a clean and safe setting while enjoying the great outdoors? What other program places a premium on safety, has outstanding playing and concessions facilities at very affordable prices? I encourage not only your children, but you as parents, to register today to play, coach or volunteer for the 2010 season. Very few community programs have been as constant and successful over the generations as Little League, so please join us in this wonderful Spring family tradition. On behalf of the 2010 CLL Board of Directors we look forward to seeing you soon. Sincerely, Jason Chin, President Last Updated ( Tuesday, 19 January 2010 16:43 ) |
